James Snidle is an accredited appraiser from the Appraisers Association of America. Snidle has passed the Uniform Code of Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice examination as required by the Federal Appraisal Foundation, Washington, D.C. and administered by the American Society of Appraisers and the International Society of Appraiser.
Our Services
Insurance Replacement Appraisal
An insurance appraisal is a replacement cost analysis which provides an accurate estimate of the value of an item needed for insurance purposes.
Fair Market Value & Charitable Donation Appraisal
Fair market and donation appraisals are commonly used for divorce, estate tax and donation purposes. The fair market value is the price at which the property would change hands between a willing buyer and a willing seller.
Appraisal fees are based on an hourly rate. Please contact us for an estimate.
Estate Liquidations Services
We handle mid-size to large estates, providing you with an accurate report in a timely fashion with prompt payment. We are prepared to sell all the contents of your estate such as art, antiques, furniture, jewelry, gold and silver coins, pottery, clothing, collectables, kitchenware, garage contents, automobiles, etc.
Basic Fee Structures:
50% Commission on Estates grossing under $10,000
35% Commission on Estates grossing over $10,000
Estate Sale Services include set-up, expert pricing, all advertising, and on-site sale.
Estate Sale Services do not include clean up and removal. These services can be arranged after the sale for a fee of waste disposal costs plus a labor cost of $25 per person per hour.
