Opposites Attract
Paula Busch has been working in the ancient medium of encaustic painting. By working with bee's wax, resin, and wax pigments, there are endless possibilities for expression. While the imagery is diverse, references are frequently made to plant life and animal forms.
Busch earned an art degree at the University of California at Berkeley and a Master of Arts degree in Printmaking at CSU, Chico. She continues to live in Chico, teaches art at Butte Community College and works in her studio. She is enthusiastically involved with the activities of the large network of local artists.
